Everyone should volunteer with Friends of the Rouge!! This program teaches groups of students from middle school's to be scientists, collecting data about the health of the watershed through biological indicator species (bugs, frogs, fish, etc.) that reflect the long-term health of the watershed. Ashley's favorite part to play is getting into her weighters and collecting bugs/larvae for the entomology portion.Go to link

Every trip Ashley takes is all about donating to sanctuaries, zoo's and aquariums. Ashley and her fiancee Malachi take two trips per year to visit these organizations that making a difference.Go to link
Ashley's family goats help surrounding areas by eating invasive plants! With fewer invasive plants, full bellies, and preserving land with the right habitat to support native life, we forgo other methods of killing invasive species that are harsh on the natural environment.

Ashley has volunteered her time to making horses comfortable while relocating from a rescue to their new home or vise versa. It is so important to make sure these beautiful souls get the life they deserve.
